Musings With A Holistic Doctor And FasterEFT Practitioner

By Suzanne Zacharia

It was a delight to meet with Dr Ravi Ramiah, a holistic medical doctor with vision, integrity, and enthusiasm. We both feel passionately for doing things right, proper ethics, practitioner recognition and development, integrative medicine, and helping others. I was only sad that our chat had to come to an end, but I have tapped on it. This is a man on fire for all things good and wholesome and equal and right. He should be an inspiration to every doctor and complementary practitioner out there.

Ravi currently works as a locum doctor in A&E, surgery, paediatrics, or whatever will take him to a new adventure, until he settles on a medical speciality. Young and vibrant, he loves to travel and see where his calling will next take him. He also helps with charitable work. Ravi is taking FasterEFT to India next year, helping very poor children with this method. He has a heart of gold. And he is doing everything responsibly, like you would expect any caring genuine doctor to. For example, he knows his limitations. He intends to take in about 5 kids at a time, for their safety and to be able to look after all of them at once. They have been brought up to hide emotions, keeping them stuffed inside. He wants to help them with the support from FasterEFT and has put together an emotional intelligence for kids program to help those children most in need.

Ravi saw a need to further develop the Ethics Board of Faster EFT and is an important member of the board, which consists of 6 members. He wants to be proactive and pre-emptive. He wants more support for fledgling practitioners. Especially following up after the workshop. We exchanged ideas so that FasterEFT to be a proper part of integrative medicine. For example, he is putting together a list of the most up-to-date Red Flags. These are instances where a practitioner should call a doctor or ambulance, such as chest tightness, asthma in some cases, dizziness, and so on. The exciting thing is that as a FasterEFT Practitioner himself, he knows the red flags that should be noted particularly for this method, going above and beyond what the average organisation does for its own method.

Ravi was impressed to hear that a child with mental health and emotional issues had attended sessions with a FasterEFT practitioner, after which the child's doctor signed them off as having no problems and was interested to ask the mother what had happened. This is very interesting, but the medical fraternity needs to know more scientifically how this works. So Ravi is interested in evidence-based research into FasterEFT that can be used to convince the medical fraternity to work with practitioners, a win-win all around.

We chatted some more about how the bar is being raised for this growing method's ethics, and I have no doubt that as long as Ravi is on the team, we are about to see even more miracles.

With thanks to Ravi for his time, effort, and unconditional love.
